Join our R&D Test and Analysis Group in Lexington, MA as a hands-on Environmental Test Technician. In this role, you will work closely with R&D engineers to build test fixtures, set up instrumentation, run chambers and shakers, execute environmental and reliability testing, and help transition prototypes into reliable products. You’ll prepare and conduct dynamic and climatic tests on various items, operate and program electrodynamic shakers and climatic chambers, install sensors like thermocouples and accelerometers, and use data acquisition software to capture test data. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with environmental testing equipment, proficiency in DAQ systems, and strong documentation skills. Experience in both production and R&D environments is preferred, along with the ability to solder and repair hardware from engineering drawings.

  • Strong understanding of various test apparatus operations, including mounting sensors.
  • Ability to document tests meticulously and work independently under engineering direction.
