What you'll do

  • Develop firmware, hypervisors, and operating systems for IBM Power enterprise computer systems.
  • Create software for system management and control.
  • Build hardware enablement for AI and quantum computing technologies.
  • Write low-level code in Python or C/C++ to interact closely with hardware.
  • Design and implement data structures and algorithms for complex software solutions.
  • Develop software tests and unit tests within the development lifecycle.
  • Create and manage APIs to support system functionality.
  • Maintain source code using Git or other version control systems.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python or C/C++ programming is required.
  • Knowledge of data structures and software design is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills are required.
  • Experience with operating systems, databases, SQL, and Git is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, virtualization concepts, and cloud operations is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
