Engineering Project Manager (Business AI on SAP), IS&T Enterprise Systems joins the IS&T team to shape enterprise custom application development and integrate AI/ML capabilities into operations. This role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for designing and executing projects using BTP and other technology stacks to automate processes for efficiency. The project manager manages the entire product lifecycle, partners with business and technical teams to define scope, and ensures solution quality through enterprise guidelines. Key responsibilities include developing scalable solutions and managing complex integrations involving EDI, API, JSON, XML, and flat file exchanges. Required expertise includes SAP S/4 HANA architecture, BTP custom application design, and Python programming. The role focuses on the operations transactional platform supporting sales, manufacturing, distribution, service, and financials while leveraging advanced AI technologies like LLMs, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
Define and negotiate project scope with business and technical teams.
Design scalable custom enterprise solutions using BTP and related technology stacks.
Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception to final delivery.
Implement global solutions within predetermined resources, budgets, and timelines.
Integrate SAP systems with non-SAP technologies using EDI, API, JSON, and XML.
Incorporate AI/ML capabilities and prompt engineering to automate processes for efficiency.
Enforce enterprise guidelines to ensure high quality across all delivered solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8 years of experience in SAP Functional, Enterprise application design and development, and Project Management within Logistics, Sales, or Order management environments.
8 years of experience with custom application development using BTP, HANA On-Prem, and non-SAP technology.
8 years of experience working on integration technologies for SAP and Non-SAP systems using EDI, API, JSON, XML, and Flat file exchange.
Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Reasoning using LLMs.
10+ years of experience leading cross-functional global teams on multiple complex projects.
Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA architecture, including core functionalities and migration.
