Engineering Project Manager (Business AI on SAP), IS&T Enterprise Systems joins the IS&T team to shape enterprise custom application development and integrate AI/ML capabilities into operations. This role serves as a subject matter expert, designing and executing projects for the Operations transactional platform which powers functions like Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution, Service, and Financials. The individual will manage the entire project lifecycle, partner with business teams to define scope, and design scalable solutions using BTP and other technologies. Key technical requirements include experience with SAP S/4 HANA architecture, BTP, HANA On-Prem, and integration technologies such as EDI, API, JSON, XML, and Flat file exchange. The role also requires expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Python programming to automate processes and improve efficiency within the logistics and order management domains.
Define and negotiate project scope with business and technical teams to design enterprise application solutions.
Design scalable custom solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related technology stacks.
Manage the entire Project Lifecycle (PLC) for all assigned projects from inception to completion.
Oversee solution delivery and ensure all components meet specific business requirements.
Integrate SAP systems with non-SAP technologies using EDI, API, JSON, XML, and flat file exchanges.
Incorporate AI/ML capabilities and prompt engineering to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
Enforce enterprise guidelines across the team to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while adhering to set budgets and timelines.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8 years of experience in SAP Functional, Enterprise application design and development, and Project Management within Logistics, Sales, or Order management environments.
8 years of experience with custom application development using BTP, HANA On-Prem, and non-SAP technology.
8 years of experience working on integration technologies for SAP and Non-SAP systems using EDI, API, JSON, XML, and Flat file exchange.
Experience in AI/ML, GenAI, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Reasoning using LLMs (preferred).
10+ years of experience leading cross-functional global teams on multiple complex projects (preferred).
SAP configuration experience in OTC or LOG functional domains (preferred).
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, BTP, UI5, Fiori, or Business Rules framework (preferred).
