The Engineering Leadership Development Program - Software Engineer is a three-year rotational program designed to accelerate the development of highly qualified engineers through exposure to various business units and design life cycle elements. Participants will apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate hardware and software interfaces, performing requirements analysis, and managing the integration and testing of embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment. The role requires proficiency in languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and various real-time operating systems like VxWorks and QNX. This position focuses on solving technical challenges within the domain of tactical radio equipment and embedded systems.

What we're looking for
Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science Engineering.
Applicants must have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months to be eligible for the program.
Ability to relocate every 12 months for the duration of the three-year program.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain required security clearances.
Exposure to CAD or analysis (FEA) tools and experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms (preferred).
Familiarity with transducer instrumentation, data collection, automation, and software programming for numerical analysis (preferred).
Ability to generate free body diagrams, determine reaction forces, calculate internal loads, and develop shear and moment diagrams (preferred).
Working knowledge of one programming language (preferred).
