What you'll do

Design and develop high-density energy storage systems for maritime platforms.
Execute certification efforts for energy systems, including UN38.3 and NAVSEA 9310 tasks.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of energy systems to ensure safety and performance.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate energy solutions into maritime products.
Perform mission-level trade studies to balance risk, cost, and performance objectives.
Actively participate in Root Cause Corrective Action for energy system issues.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field (Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in power system design and development
Experience designing high-density energy storage systems for harsh environments
Expertise in battery safety plans and certification processes (UN38.3, NAVSEA 9310)
Strong technical fundamentals in energy storage systems and electronics design
High-reliability power system design experience for mission-critical applications
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors
