You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, proficiency with electronic CAD tools like NX and SolidWorks, familiarity with networking protocols such as Ethernet and CAN, and competence using test equipment including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
