What you'll do

Develop mission-critical NSA-certified cybersecurity devices using custom in-house hardware.
Write and maintain real-time embedded software, preferably on Linux OS using C, C++, or Rust.
Translate CONOPS, specifications, and requirements into software designs, code, and test plans.
Execute the full software development lifecycle including integration, testing, and debugging.
Manage concurrent programming tasks for high-speed data processing systems.
Provide technical direction and leadership to execute projects with minimal guidance.
Maintain and perform technology refreshes for products with long lifecycles.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Experience with Agile methodologies (preferred).
Experience in Real-Time Embedded software, preferably on Linux OS (preferred).
Experience developing in systems programming languages like C/C++ (preferred) or Rust (preferred).
Extensive experience with software design, code, integration, and test.
Proficiency with tools for IDEs, version control, defect tracking, and scripting.
