What you'll do

Implement digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and RF theory for spectrum analyzer components.
Develop firmware for embedded systems using SCPI, Ethernet, and Serial integration.
Debug software across multiple layers, including firmware behavior, electrical interfaces, and system-level interactions.
Port software from Windows to Linux environments, including compiling and cross-compiling libraries.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship for junior employees' technical competencies.
Perform hands-on laboratory work and hardware-software integration testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
7+ years of experience with software development languages, including Python, C, or C++.
Experience with the design, development, and testing of real-time software for microcontrollers interfacing with specialized hardware.
Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and RF theory, including building the front and back end of a spectrum analyzer.
Experience using Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence, and using version control, including GitHub.
Experience using Windows and Linux systems, including porting software from Windows to Linux and cross-compiling libraries.
Experience developing software and firmware for embedded systems, such as SCPI, Ethernet, and Serial integration.
