What you'll do

  • Conduct system performance analysis to support planning and regulatory needs.
  • Perform transient stability studies using PSS/E and ASPEN OneLiner technologies.
  • Develop mitigation plans for power system reliability and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Calculate electromagnetic interference for both overhead and underground transmission lines.
  • Maintain and validate dynamic models in Regional Transmission Organizations (RTO) processes.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Proficiency with PSS/E, ASPEN OneLiner, PSCAD, and Alstom technologies.
  • Expertise in power system stability, reliability, and compliance studies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain dynamic models for regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading electrical engineering studies and presenting findings.
