Familiarity with US Naval Combatant requirements is highly desirable.

Perform GSO compliant power analysis for ship alterations to meet Navy requirements.
Integrate new equipment into existing shipboard power design systems.

Define circuit protection sizing for equipment and motor controller relays per Navy standards.
Review design drawings and models for functional issues, providing feedback to detail design teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Fundamental understanding and knowledge of power distribution systems and components.
Familiarity with design of US Naval Combatants and Navy requirements for power system design.
Ability to critically assess technical problems, evaluate options, and develop solutions.
Proficient in reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, and blueprints/drawings.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
Experience with Excel, Word & Adobe required; familiarity with Paladin DesignBase 6 desired.
