As an Electrical Design Engineer (Falcon & Dragon Avionics), you will join the Avionics Hardware Development team to manage the full product lifecycle of flight hardware, from initial design through production and launch. You will be responsible for designing new hardware, modifying PCBAs to improve reliability and manufacturability, and performing root cause investigations to mitigate risks in off-nominal unit behavior. Your daily work involves updating electrical schematics, creating mechanical drawings, and executing hardware validation via benchtop and environmental testing. The role requires proficiency in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, as well as experience with KiCad, Altium, or Eagle for layout and LTspice or SIMetrix for simulation. You will utilize knowledge of SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, and RS422 protocols to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicle systems during space access missions.
