What you'll do

Own and maintain a quarterly Technology Radar that guides technology decisions across the company.
Establish and manage research partnerships with major tech vendors like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
Lead and mentor a team of four Senior Research Engineers to foster intellectual curiosity and rigorous experimentation.
Present quarterly findings to label CTOs and Edge leadership, translating insights into actionable platform strategies.
Bridge emerging technology trends to production roadmaps by contributing technology bets to annual investment planning.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or technology strategy roles.
Proven track record of leading technical teams for at least 3 years.
Deep relationships with major cloud/technology vendors and a history of identifying technologies before mainstream adoption.
Hands-on proficiency in two or more areas: cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, distributed systems, developer tooling.
Experience publishing technology assessments, radar documents, or similar artifacts.
Background in the gaming or entertainment technology industry is preferred.
