The Director of System Software will lead a world-class engineering team responsible for developing foundational system software technologies for NVIDIA’s automotive platforms, working closely with hardware, architecture, AI, and product teams to define and implement the software strategy. This role involves defining technical roadmaps, establishing engineering standards, and collaborating with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience in systems software development, including at least 8 years in leadership roles managing large, distributed teams, with expertise in embedded Linux or RTOS platforms, hypervisors, device drivers, and automotive middleware. They should also have a strong understanding of automotive software practices and standards, and a proven track record of delivering complex software platforms from concept to production.
