As a Director of IT at Circle.com, you will join a dynamic team as a strategic leader responsible for aligning enterprise infrastructure and automation initiatives with business needs across Security, Talent, and other departments. Your daily tasks include representing IT in cross-functional planning sessions, leading automation projects to enhance user experience, and leveraging AI and modern tools to optimize workflows. You will also guide build vs. buy decisions for internal tools and collaborate closely with the CIO on department strategy. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IT leadership roles, a deep understanding of enterprise SaaS environments, and proficiency with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, MDM tools such as Iru, and identity solutions like Okta. Additionally, hands-on scripting or engineering experience is preferred, along with familiarity with Talent and People Ops systems.
Act as a strategic liaison between IT and other departments to ensure alignment on infrastructure and service delivery.
Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve user experience.
Represent the IT function in cross-functional planning sessions to steer technology discussions.
Identify operational improvement opportunities and influence technology decisions across the company.
Guide build vs. buy decisions for internal tools and architecture across multiple departments.
Collaborate with CIO on department strategy, metrics, and work prioritization.
Leverage AI and modern tooling to optimize IT workflows and enhance support capabilities.
