Director of Product, Risk & Response

What you'll do

• Align product strategies across underwriting, claims, and security to treat them as a single continuous risk lifecycle.
• Manage and coach a team of product managers across three distinct domains with different stakeholders and technical depths.
• Establish and own feedback loops where security telemetry informs underwriting and claims data informs pricing models.
• Oversee the development of model-driven workflows, automated decisioning, and ML-assisted tooling with Data and Engineering teams.
• Drive major platform evolutions and systems migrations across the entire risk portfolio.
• Define and monitor success metrics that span the entire portfolio rather than individual isolated areas.
• Represent the risk lifecycle to executive leadership and external partners by translating technical work into business outcomes.
• Champion and implement an AI-enabled approach to underwriting, claims, and security products.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in product management.
• Several years of experience leading and developing product managers.
• Proven track record of owning a multi-domain or platform portfolio and setting strategy across areas with competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in technically deep, model-driven, or data-heavy product areas.
• Proven experience with major platform migrations or systems transformations of critical internal or enterprise systems.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills to drive alignment across diverse senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Daily fluency with AI tools as part of product work.
• Experience with the business of insurance or other regulated financial products (preferred).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity products, MDR/EDR, security operations, or incident response (preferred).
• Prior experience shipping products built on predictive models, risk scores, or automated decisioning (preferred).
