The Director, Information Security Office Consultant joins the Information Security and Risk Management team to consult on initiatives, programs, and projects. This role serves as a central point of contact for a line of business, coordinating proactive consulting across infrastructure platform security, application security, resiliency, data security, network architecture, and user access management. You will influence customers to shift security left in development processes and provide technical architectural leadership to drive innovative solutions. Key technologies and skills include Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), Containers, Docker, Microservices, Serverless, APIs, DevOps, micro-segmentation, and generative AI security. You will also navigate compliance frameworks such as PCI, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GLBA, and GDPR to manage cybersecurity risk and ensure the security of customer servicing platforms.

What you'll do

  • Act as the central point of contact for the line of business regarding information security and risk management.
  • Coordinate and execute proactive security consulting for infrastructure, applications, data, and network architecture.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on corporate security capabilities, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Influence customers to integrate security into the early stages of the development process.
  • Provide technical and architectural leadership to drive innovative cybersecurity solutions.
  • Escalate and manage cybersecurity risks to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding the overall security health and risk environment.
  • Anticipate business objectives to provide tailored security support for the line of business.

What we're looking for

  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing security risk assessments and security architecture reviews.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Application Development.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience providing guidance and oversight of security concepts (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience building software utilizing public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) (preferred).
