DevOps Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, manage, and secure container platforms using cloud capabilities.
• Build and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in AWS.
• Build container images and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code for automated server configurations and large-scale software deployments.
• Manage tools deployed with Helm and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Develop and support custom applications in production environments.
• Evaluate, mitigate, and resolve container security vulnerabilities.
• Inform strategy and design to ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with containerization, including building images and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including automated configurations, large-scale deployments, or monitoring.
• 3+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment.
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage solutions, and security technologies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus (preferred).
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby (preferred).
• Experience with system integration using JSON, REST, and XML (preferred).
• Experience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity Model (preferred).
• Cloud Certification, including AWS, Google Cloud, or MCSE (preferred).
