Data Steward

What you'll do

• Maintain data standards for discoverability, trustworthiness, and asset interoperability across cross-functional teams.
• Execute projects to maximize the strategic utility and business application of data assets.
• Participate in early-stage development cycles for emerging data product innovations.
• Manage core data pipeline workflows and provide direct assistance for critical lifecycle processes.
• Build and support automated, threshold-driven reporting systems to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and execute remediation plans based on organizational priorities.
• Communicate data product strategies and technical information to diverse internal and external audiences.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Master's degree is strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, product ownership, or consulting regarding data.
• 2-5 years of experience with data and business insights analysis to drive data quality practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools such as Python, Looker, BigQuery, and Tableau.
• Familiarity with cloud/on-prem technologies, structured/unstructured data, and streaming/reposed data.
• Experience with Collibra or similar metadata management tools.
• Ability to work in a role that does not offer immigration sponsorship or F-1 STEM OPT support.
