Data Scientist, Mid

What you'll do

• Analyze complex structured and unstructured datasets to solve global challenges.
• Identify specific client needs and questions to guide data exploration.
• Develop algorithms and systems to turn disparate data points into objective answers.
• Use R, Python, and various frameworks to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Provide deep insights into data meanings to help clients make informed decisions.
• Perform data gathering, cleansing, and parsing for large-scale datasets.
• Develop and apply optimization and simulation models.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in statistics, operations research, or advanced mathematics is required.
• Experience with R or Python is required.
• Experience using scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science (preferred).
• Experience with optimization, modeling and simulation, prediction, estimation, decision analysis, or engineering management (preferred).
