Data Scientist, Growth Product

What you'll do

• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests to improve member product experiences across acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
• Translate complex data analyses into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for product and executive audiences.
• Use advanced statistical methods, including causal inference and time-series forecasting, to solve complex product questions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and self-service tools to provide the team with visibility into funnel health.
• Establish high-quality eventing to track detailed user behaviors throughout the customer journey on the mobile app.
• Develop frameworks to prioritize high-leverage experiments and drive data-informed decision-making within the growth organization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve the quality, accessibility, and trustworthiness of growth datasets.

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in product or business analytics roles.
• Expert-level SQL ability and proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience designing and analyzing A/B tests with a solid grasp of statistical concepts.
• Experience using advanced statistical methods for causal inference, time-series forecasting, and machine learning for customer segmentation.
• Ability to translate complex technical analyses into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with building data pipelines using tools like dbt or Airflow.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
• Must be located within commuting distance of the San Francisco headquarters to work in-office four days per week.
