Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Craft strategies to locate and source diverse datasets from structured and unstructured environments.
• Write scripts to analyze data and automate processes for increased operational efficiency.
• Build interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools to visualize complex data insights.
• Establish key performance indicators and metrics to support leadership decision-making.
• Apply machine learning methods like random forests and gradient-boosted models in production settings.
• Use generative AI tools to accelerate code development and orchestrate agentic workflows.
• Translate technical analyses into clear narratives and use cases for senior military stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining of structured and unstructured data.
• 2+ years of experience with Python, R, or SQL and libraries like pandas, NumPy, or scikit-learn.
• 2+ years of experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI and code-based visualizations using Matplotlib or Plotly.
• 1+ years of experience applying machine learning methods like logistic regression, random forests, and gradient-boosted models in production.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs, surface trends, and communicate technical narratives to military stakeholders.
• Experience using generative AI tools and developing NLP models (preferred); TS/SCI clearance (preferred); Master’s degree (preferred).
