What you'll do

  • Design and own the metrics layer for modeling, governing, and consuming metrics across Apple's Wallet, Payments & Commerce.
  • Architect and implement a headless BI strategy decoupling metric definitions from visualization tools.
  • Build and maintain a centralized metrics store ensuring single source of truth for all KPIs and business metrics.
  • Define metric ownership, versioning, and certification standards to ensure trusted consumption across teams.
  • Lead the transformation of BI from legacy reporting to a modern, AI-driven data consumption model.
  • Evaluate and adopt modern tools for semantic modeling and headless BI to enable multi-modal data consumption.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying next-gen analytical data products.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional/star schema data modeling, and metric standardization.
  • Experience implementing headless BI/semantic layer tools and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate analytics strategy effectively to senior leadership across various audiences.
