Data Product Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and enhance scalable data pipelines and products using Snowflake, AWS, and Azure services.
• Develop data transformations, ingestion processes, and orchestration workflows to meet technical requirements.
• Implement reusable patterns and technical designs provided by senior engineers or solution architects.
• Write maintainable code while performing unit, integration, and data quality testing.
• Monitor production data products and perform root-cause analysis for identified issues.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and lineage controls for assigned components.
• Maintain runbooks and technical documentation to support incident resolution and operations.
• Translate business requirements into working solutions while providing status updates on project risks and dependencies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including SQL, data loading, modeling, and performance tuning (preferred).
• Experience with AWS services or Azure services (preferred).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows (preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or a similar programming language (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing (preferred).
• Understanding of data quality, security, governance, cataloging, and observability concepts (preferred).
