Data Lake Engineer, Lead serves as a technical leader on the team responsible for designing data architecture solutions for DoW data-driven projects. The role involves resolving complex architectural issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams while providing recommendations for optimization. What we're looking for
TS/SCI clearance is required.
A Master's degree in a relevant technical field and 2+ years of experience managing enterprise data architecture, Databricks administration, and cloud platforms are required.
11+ years of experience managing enterprise data architecture, Databricks administration, and cloud-based data platforms may be substituted for a degree.
Experience in Databricks platform administration including workspace configuration, Unity Catalog, cluster performance tuning, and cloud integration is required.
Experience in ETL data pipeline development, Delta Lake optimization, and AI/ML workflow integration is required.
Experience in SysEngOps, DevSecOps, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and governance is required.
Experience in cloud security, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance with DoW data policies across AWS, Azure, and GCP is required.
Experience working within DoW or IC environments, RMF or ATO processes, and AWS or Azure Cloud Certifications are preferred.
