What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to foster strong engineering practices and continuous improvement.
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms for analytics, AI/ML, and commercial business use cases.
  • Manage delivery priorities and execution across multiple concurrent data engineering initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Drive operational excellence in production data assets through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of data engineering experience with at least 2 years in team leadership.
  • Proven expertise in designing and operating scalable data pipelines using technologies like Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Hadoop.
  • Strong background in cloud-native data engineering and modern ETL/ELT solutions, preferably on AWS/Snowflake.
  • Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages; Scala or Java beneficial.
  • Experience with batch, near real-time, and streaming data architectures, including data mesh principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in agile environments.
