What you'll do

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for enterprise data engineering initiatives and platforms.
Manage Snowflake platform operations including scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
Design and evolve enterprise data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and delivery pipelines.
Establish standards for ETL/ELT development, metadata management, lineage, and automated monitoring.
Define and implement automated data quality controls and remediation processes.
Lead investigations into production incidents and provide senior escalation support during critical events.
Develop and track service level objectives and metrics to measure platform health.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related disciplines.
Significant hands-on experience with Snowflake in large-scale enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in ETL/ELT architectures, data integration technologies, orchestration frameworks, and modern data platforms.
Experience supporting business-critical production systems operating in a 24x7 environment.
Strong background in data quality, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Demonstrated experience influencing engineering organizations through technical leadership rather than direct authority.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, and platform automation practices (preferred).
