What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable, cloud-native data platforms using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Develop and deploy data pipelines for data acquisition, preparation, and processing.
  • Create software to retrieve and parse both structured and unstructured data.
  • Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of complex data platforms.
  • Implement data engineering solutions to support AI/ML models and Business Intelligence dashboards.
  • Lead and guide multi-disciplinary teams through data engineering and analytical exploration tasks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex operational data flows for data marts and warehouses.
  • Execute cloud migration and modernization efforts for diverse client projects.

What we're looking for

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in all-source analysis, or 7+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience designing cloud-native data platforms in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with cloud migration and modernization efforts.
  • Experience with data pipelines, including data acquisition, data prep, and database architecture.
  • Experience with data engineering projects supporting data science, AI/ML implementations, and Business Intelligence dashboards.
  • Experience with non-relational and semi-relational databases.
  • Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with team lead functions in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with Pyspark and Spark ecosystems such as Databricks and EMR (preferred).
  • Experience evaluating data analytic or science technologies and platforms (preferred).
  • Experience going through an A&A process or leading modifications (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud architecture and evaluating and selecting cloud analytics architectures (preferred).
  • Experience with data marts and data warehouses, and creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows (preferred).
  • Experience with source code management and integration such as GitHub (preferred).
  • Experience designing, developing, deploying, or testing in AWS (preferred).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and SQL (preferred).
  • Experience with APIs development (preferred).
  • AWS Architecture Certifications such as Solution Architect Certification (preferred).
