What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable data warehouse and data lake architectures.
  • Develop and deploy automated ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data workflows.
  • Parse and organize structured, unstructured, and event-streaming data from disparate sources.
  • Perform tuning on data lake architecture to optimize cloud storage and pipeline performance.
  • Manage data governance policies including cataloging, usage tracking, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop advanced technology solutions for mission-critical projects like fraud detection and research.
  • Implement automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple technical stacks.

What we're looking for

  • Top Secret clearance is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in data systems are required, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • 8+ years of experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, RESTful API models, event processing, or business intelligence for software systems.
  • 5+ years of experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and automating large-scale batch and streaming data workflows.
  • 5+ years of experience coding in languages including SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, or Java.
  • Experience tuning data lake architecture to optimize cloud storage and pipeline performance.
  • Experience with data management solutions covering catalogs, usage, governance policies, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with distributed computing tools like Spark, NiFi, AirFlow, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
