As a senior associate Data Engineer in State Street’s Global Technology Services organization, you will design and develop automated test scripts to support regression testing for AWS-based applications, Databricks, and ETL backend systems using Java and Python. Your daily tasks include documenting testing requirements, contributing to application development and integration, executing performance tests, translating business needs into technical specifications, and providing post-production support. You will also build secure applications and manage databases in cloud environments, writing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality. This role requires expertise in data management, analytics, Python programming, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and database management, with a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering. Experience with Spring Boot is a plus, as well as strong teamwork and analytical skills.
