Associate Senior Data Engineer, Data Domain Architect, Payment Operations

What you'll do

• Define data metadata, identify systems of record, and establish data quality rules and flow diagrams.
• Create conceptual and logical models to inform the physical design of data-related projects.
• Profile, wrangle, and prepare data from diverse sources using Python, PySpark, or SQL.
• Conduct business process analysis to determine if requested data is fit for specific operational uses.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their applicability for firm-wide business use cases.
• Define and implement data engineering use cases in partnership with technology and product teams.
• Design and implement new data delivery and analytic capabilities to meet Payments Operations needs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative subject.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a software developer, data/ML engineer, data scientist, or business intelligence engineer.
• Experience or knowledge in at least one data technology such as warehousing, ETL, data quality, BI tools, unstructured data, or machine learning.
• Proficiency with common relational database systems like Teradata and Oracle with strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Databricks or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and communicate complex information effectively.
