What you'll do

  • Draft and staff foundational planning documents including OPLANS, OPORDs, and FRAGOs.
  • Support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and integration during Cyber Warfare domain activities.
  • Develop concepts of support and courses of action while integrating command and external capabilities.
  • Provide situational awareness for projects, Crisis Action Teams, and current operations activities.
  • Develop and review specific Cyberspace Operations plans to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze and assess internal and external partner capabilities, tools, and intelligence support needs.
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies relevant to organizational cyber objectives.
  • Communicate complex information and concepts through verbal, written, and visual means.

What we're looking for

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph required.
  • Associate degree or higher in a STEM field, National Security Studies, or related field, or ability to complete a degree within one year.
  • 2 or more years of recent work experience as a CO Planner, with specific waivers available for Combat Mission Team or JFHQ-C experience.
  • Recent work experience in offensive cyberspace capabilities development, with specific waivers available for Combat Mission Team experience.
  • Formal training as a Cyber Operational Planner within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
  • Intimate familiarity with applicable Joint Publications, such as JP 5-0 Joint Operational Planning.
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals and various communications media.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field, National Security Studies, or related field (preferred).
