As a Cyber Warfare Engineer, you will join the team as an OT security engineer to protect critical defense platforms and cyber-physical systems. Your primary responsibilities include conducting cybersecurity assessments, security design engineering, and threat monitoring to maintain a robust cybersecurity posture. You will implement countermeasures, detect threats, and oversee onsite security assessments while working cross-functionally with government stakeholders. The role requires expertise in system designs, protocols, and physical configurations for critical infrastructure, space mission systems, or weapons systems platforms. You will utilize skills in cyber test planning, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and cyber resilience evaluations. Key competencies include knowledge of systems engineering processes like SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR, along with integrating cybersecurity requirements, controls, and risk assessments throughout the entire system lifecycle.
Conduct cybersecurity assessments and security design engineering for critical defense platforms.
Monitor threats to protect cyber-physical systems and critical infrastructure.
Implement security countermeasures and maintain the overall cybersecurity posture of complex systems.
Oversee onsite security assessments for government stakeholders.
Perform cyber test planning, execution, and reporting, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
Integrate cybersecurity requirements, controls, and risk assessments throughout the system lifecycle.
Develop technical documentation for high-visibility defense programs and working groups.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience with cyber-physical systems such as critical infrastructure, space mission systems, or weapons systems platforms.
Experience supporting technical reviews, working groups, and documentation development for high-visibility defense programs.
Knowledge of cyber test planning, execution, and reporting, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and cyber resilience evaluations.
Knowledge of systems engineering processes such as SRR, PDR, CDR, or TRR and integrating cybersecurity requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
Experience with Zero Trust architecture principles, frameworks, and implementation within complex weapon or mission system environments (preferred).
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (preferred).
Master's degree (preferred).
IAT III Certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CASP Certification (preferred).
