What you'll do

Test and evaluate systems for the DoD in support of Air Force clients.
Assess systems based on NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework security controls.
Filter capabilities and data flows within the system architecture.
Manage Mandatory Access Controls and Discretionary Access Controls.
Automate basic tasks using Ruby, Python, and Bash scripting.
Analyze and execute technical test plans and procedures.
Harden systems to prevent cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Utilize vulnerability assessment tools like Kali Linux, Wireshark, and Metasploit.

What we're looking for

Experience with Linux command line, including scripting in Ruby, Python, and Bash to automate tasks.
Experience with networking concepts and virtualization.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology.
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology.
Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II Security+ CE Certification within 120 days of start date.
Experience with test plans, technical documentation, penetration testing, NIST 800-53, or specific security tools (preferred).
Secret clearance.
