JOB TITLE: Cyber Range Engineer The Cyber Range Engineer joins a mission-focused team to develop representative and realistic cyberspace virtual and physical environments for the Space Force's cyber workforce. What you'll do

Develop representative and realistic cyberspace virtual and physical environments for the Space Force cyber workforce.
Identify and exploit system and network vulnerabilities to support cyber mission forces.
Develop, modify, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange services.
Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking devices, including switching, routing, and VLANs.
Deploy and manage Docker containers and containerized application environments.
Implement cybersecurity solutions using SIEM tools like Suricata, Zeek, and Elastic.
Automate processes through the development and maintenance of custom scripts and purpose-built software.

What we're looking for

HS diploma or GED.
Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
Experience working with enterprise virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, Proxmox, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Experience with systems administration across Linux and Windows environments, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Exchange, and DNS.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking devices, including switching, routing, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Docker containers and containerized application environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, SIEM tools (Suricata, Zeek, Elastic), Python automation, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
TS/SCI clearance.
