Corporate Network Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Manage and grow a global team of network engineers to foster excellence.
• Design and operate Stripe’s global corporate offices and partner networks.
• Develop automated provisioning tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establish metrics to track and improve operational efficiencies in the network.
• Resolve complex, undocumented network issues through technical expertise.
• Collaborate with Security and Engineering teams on infrastructure solutions.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience managing geographically dispersed direct reports.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP), Layer 2 technologies, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Junos and Juniper routers, switches, and firewall hardware.
• Success in building internal tools and automation at scale using Python or other scripting languages.
• Comfort with Linux/Unix operating systems and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining discipline.
• Outstanding collaboration skills and patience dealing with people in various situations.
