Controls Technician Lead, Amazon Leo

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate team of Controls Technicians in daily shop operations.
• Manage work intake through JIRA, ensuring requests are complete and documented.
• Allocate resources and assign tasks based on skill requirements and project complexity.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics for control panel implementation.
• Serve as quality control during power-up and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues in manufacturing and lab systems.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience with industrial controls equipment installation and maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead a team of technicians in manufacturing or lab environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics (IEC standards preferred).
• Experience managing technical projects from intake through commissioning.
• Familiarity with work tracking systems like JIRA.
• Knowledge of general electrical safety practices including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
