What you'll do

Design and implement algorithms for closed-loop vehicle controls, supervisory controls, thermal management.
Build infrastructure to systematically verify the behavior of control algorithms through test cases and plant models.
Rigorously test robot performance at various levels including simulation and end-to-end road testing.
Continuously improve development processes, testing methods, bug triage, and overall robot performance.
Define and solve new problems using acquired skills and knowledge not covered in existing job descriptions.

What we're looking for

BS/MS in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years experience building robots, autonomous vehicles, or complex mechatronic systems
Expertise in developing and testing brushless motor controls
Proficiency in model-based design using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
Strong understanding of feedback control, sensors, actuators, embedded controllers, CAN communication
