What you'll do

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Groovy/Grails.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures for high performance and maintainability.
Perform cloud migrations by re-architecting applications to leverage AWS services like S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
Manage application deployment using Apache Tomcat and Oracle WebLogic with SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases.
Apply secure software engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data from vulnerabilities.
Champion the adoption of DevSecOps practices and tooling to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.
Mentor team members on design techniques, coding standards, and technical tools.
Manage multiple project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while coordinating cross-functional execution.

What we're looking for

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Six or more years of programming, software engineering, or systems analysis experience.
Three years of experience performing the duties listed in the job description.
Three years of experience in project management (preferred).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
Hands-on technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Insurance or financial services industry knowledge (preferred).
