Collections Strategy & Analytics Senior Associate

What you'll do

• Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets using SQL, SAS, R, Python, or Alteryx.
• Monitor customer and industry trends to provide independent insights for strategic direction.
• Use AI technology and design thinking to improve operational efficiency and resilience.
• Design, test, and implement strategies to optimize return on investment and mitigate risks.
• Interpret data to create narratives and visualizations that drive actionable business decisions.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning techniques to understand customer behavior.
• Manage operational expenses and set quantifiable goals to enhance collections and recovery performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 4+ years of applied analytical experience.
• Master’s/MBA degree in a quantitative field with 2+ years of applied analytical experience in complex and large data environments.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in statistics, finance, analytics, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
• Proven experience with SQL, SAS, R, Python, Alteryx, Oracle/Teradata, and Tableau.
• Ability to interpret and present data clearly using narratives and visualizations to drive action.
• PhD degree in a quantitative field (preferred).
• Previous applied risk and/or analytical experience in a financial services related industry (preferred).
• Applied Collections and Recovery knowledge/experience in Auto, Card, Retail, and/or Business Banking products (preferred).
