As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer on our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in developing cloud-based security architectures for mission-critical applications within the Intelligence Community. Your responsibilities include evaluating and supporting documentation processes to ensure IT systems meet stringent IA and security requirements, advising on strategic objectives, and recommending tools based on your research of various environments. You’ll work closely with leaders to define risk thresholds and assess compliance, while also conducting evaluations of software assurance best practices. This role requires expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with Agile development using JIRA. Ideal candidates will have a background in cloud technologies and possess certifications like Security+ CE or SSCP within six months of hire.

What you'll do

Evaluate and support documentation processes for IT systems to meet IA requirements.
Analyze compliance with security standards and recommend improvements based on findings.
Assist in defining organizations’ desired state and risk thresholds for security.
Recommend tools and capabilities to address RMF security requirements effectively.
Work with IC clients to ensure information assurance and security standards are met.
Develop and evaluate security documentation such as system security plans and contingency plans.

What we're looking for

Experience in developing and evaluating security documentation such as system security plans and contingency plans.
Proficiency in security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
Hands-on experience working in Agile environments with JIRA.
HS diploma or GED required; must obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
