Cellular PHY Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of end-to-end cellular systems.
• Map system algorithms and requirements to hardware and firmware architectures.
• Conduct simulation and emulation-based validation of control flows and PHY/L1 algorithms.
• Design algorithms for LDPC, Polar, Turbo encoding, signal estimation, and detection.
• Develop models and link-level simulations using Matlab, C/C++, and Python.
• Execute chip bring-up using protocol test equipment, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Perform lab testing and characterization of wireless communication systems.
• Analyze E2E timelines for time-critical algorithms and low-power algorithm design.

What we're looking for

• BS degree is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of 6G, 5G NR, 4G LTE, and PHY Uplink channels and signals is required.
• Deep knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing is required.
• Experience with Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python for algorithm development and link-level simulation is required.
• Experience in low power algorithm design for power critical applications is helpful (preferred).
• Experience in E2E timeline analysis for time-critical algorithms is helpful (preferred).
• Experience in chip bring-up using lab equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators is helpful (preferred).
