Additionally, you will work closely with various technology teams within Qualcomm to ensure the delivery of components that meet stringent feature sets, while effectively communicating with SoC & IP architects, designers, systems engineers, and software teams to enable market-leading Data Center products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in computer architecture, memory systems, and quantitative analysis tools, along with experience in AI accelerators and novel memory technologies.

What you'll do

  • Analyze and define memory systems for AI accelerators.
  • Quantify tradeoffs in accelerator and memory technologies using data-driven methods.
  • Influence technical direction by engaging with product managers and architects.
  • Drive requirements to technology and IP core teams within Qualcomm.
  • Communicate effectively with SoC & IP architects, designers, and software teams.
  • Evaluate reliability, availability, serviceability (RAS) features for data center products.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in data center SoC architecture and memory systems.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing memory bandwidth, latency, power tradeoffs.
  • Expertise in reliability/availability/serviceability (RAS) features and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of emerging memory technologies like PIM, 3DIC, and chiplets.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills using tools such as simulators and profilers.
  • Background in processor architecture and AI accelerator design.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-disciplinary teams.
