What you'll do

  • Analyze bottlenecks in ML/AI algorithms and workloads on Qualcomm HW and SW stacks.
  • Correlate and tune AI algorithm performance versus pre-silicon predictions on-device.
  • Propose components for Snapdragon AI PCs to enhance enterprise user productivity.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class performant reference implementations.
  • Develop new features and designs to reduce performance bottlenecks in next-gen SoCs.
  • Understand trends in ML network design and their impact on SW and HW design.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in architecture-aware AI model system performance optimization on Windows PC/Laptop.
  • Deep knowledge of GPU/NPU programming and parallel computing with proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Strong background in end-to-end system performance analysis using profiling tools for algorithmic modification methods.
  • Experience with large language models/foundational models development and deployment.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and agile project management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • 15+ years experience in High Performance Computing System Engineering or Software, including AI system optimization.
