What you'll do

Own the complete software development lifecycle for assigned features including design, prototyping, implementation, and maintenance.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code while integrating components into a fully functional system.
Produce technical specifications, software verification plans, and comprehensive documentation for all software functionality.
Design new software and web applications and customize existing applications to meet product requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior-level software engineers on best practices and procedures.
Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and research relevant patents and current industry practices.
Support the business by solving technical issues and providing guidance on engineering methodologies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
7-10 years of relevant work experience.
Extensive experience with C/C++/Golang, DB design, and network programming.
Experience with large system software design and development.
Experience with distributed systems and mission-critical systems (preferred).
Knowledgeable about SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering Methodology.
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, technical innovation, and technical support.
Advertising industry experience (preferred).
