What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and sustain aircraft utility systems including Flight Controls, Landing Gear, Hydraulics.
  • Serve as liaison between Utility Systems Engineering and C-5 Program for project management and customer interaction.
  • Develop design improvements and drawing changes to enhance fleet performance and reliability.
  • Draft reports and investigate customer inquiries related to utility and mechanical system issues.
  • Manage Basis of Estimate (BOE) development and Control Account Manager (CAM) activities for the AMMM Utilities team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Experience with C-5 aircraft utility and mechanical systems, including Flight Controls, ECS, Landing Gear, Bleed Air, Hydraulics.
  • Prior experience in aircraft sustainment and depot maintenance support.
  • Proven ability to provide engineering customer interface and technical discussions with USG SPO personnel.
  • Experience as an IPT-Lead or technical team lead in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of root-cause corrective action (RCCA) activity for aircraft systems.
  • Control Account Manager (CAM)/Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
