Business Programmer II

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot programs using C#, .NET, and appropriate database technologies.
• Maintain and modify existing programs to implement approved changes and enhance functionality.
• Develop simple applications and write new program code following prescribed specifications.
• Write and maintain clear programming documentation to ensure consistency across systems.
• Evaluate interrelationships between programs to prevent unwanted results from code changes.
• Analyze program performance and correct deficiencies based on user consultations and supervisor approval.
• Confer with users to understand requirements for new changes or modifications to existing programs.
• Conduct research and data analysis to support management decision-making processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• 4+ years of experience in business or financial analysis, management reporting, or related work experience is required.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem including .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET is required.
• Experience with SQL for database development, optimization, and queries is required.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and Web APIs is required.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation is required.
• Experience with Azure or AWS for hosting, CI/CD, and cloud-based services (preferred).
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Blazor, or React is a plus.
