Business Programmer II

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot programs using appropriate hardware, databases, and programming technologies.
• Maintain and modify existing programs to implement approved changes and enhance functionality.
• Develop new program code and simple applications based on prescribed specifications.
• Write and maintain clear, consistent technical documentation for all programming activities.
• Analyze program performance and take corrective actions based on user feedback and supervisor approval.
• Consult with users to gather requirements for modifications to existing programs.
• Resolve complex questions regarding program intent, data input/output requirements, and internal controls.
• Conduct research and data analysis to support management decision-making processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• 4+ years of business or financial analysis, management reporting, or related work experience is required.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem including .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET is required.
• Experience with SQL for database development, optimization, and queries is required.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation is required.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and Web APIs is required.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, Blazor, or React (preferred).
• Experience with Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
