Baseband Hardware Design Engineer As part of the Hardware Technology group, the Baseband Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for the digital and power management domain of wireless chipsets across all Apple products from concept through product announcement. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving schematics, layout, and bring-up for development and form factor hardware while debugging complex hardware, software, and co-existence issues. The ideal candidate possesses a BSEE and strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including experience with schematic capture, layout design, and bench-level verification using high-speed oscilloscopes. Technical expertise in voltage regulators, SMPS, and interfaces like PCIe, SPMI, I2C, and UART is preferred, alongside proficiency in signal and power integrity simulation tools such as Matlab, PowerSI, SIwave, or HFSS.
