You will also lead Material Review Board efforts, maintain documentation, improve test stability, and develop reporting tools on manufacturing KPIs. This role requires expertise in avionics subsystems, strong lab skills, and proficiency with ECAD tools, as well as experience in analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design. Ideal candidates have a master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and hands-on experience in hardware development and test labs.

What you'll do

  • Liaison with production to triage issues related to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) hardware testing.
  • Optimize manufacturing test flows for avionics systems to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Review and approve processes for the test of avionics LRUs, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Lead Material Review Board efforts for nonconforming materials in avionics PCBAs/subsystems.
  • Develop and update troubleshooting guides and work instructions for production operators.
  • Coordinate yearly calibration and recommissioning of test systems to maintain accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and repair test setups to ensure continuous operation and reliability.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of hardware design and validation experience for components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging hardware issues.
  • Knowledge of schematic and layout ECAD tools.
  • Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related fields preferred.
  • Experience with RF measurement equipment such as power meters and spectrum analyzers.
