Automation Tester

What you'll do

• Design test strategies and plans while developing and executing detailed test scenarios based on banking workflows.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing on card processing and payment systems.
• Coordinate defect triage with developers and business analysts to investigate, prioritize, and resolve software bugs.
• Prepare test data, validate test environments, and troubleshoot technical testing dependencies.
• Manage day-to-day testing activities and deliverables for offshore team members.
• Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and quality risks to support release readiness.
• Validate ISO 8583 message formats and payment interchange protocols to ensure data integrity.
• Execute and maintain automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or REST Assured.

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of card processing, payments, and customer servicing systems including TS2 and card lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of ISO 8583 message formats and payment interchange protocols.
• Strong hands-on experience in REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Thunder Client.
• Strong experience in defect identification, triage, lifecycle management, and retesting using Jira or similar tools.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and STLC with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience executing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts using BDD/Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, or Robot (preferred).
• Experience with data synchronization, source-to-target validation, and data lake/data-processing validation (preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git (preferred).
